 The mission of the Salem City Emergency

Management Team is to prepare for, protect

against, respond to and recover from

natural and manmade incidents and events

up to and including major disasters. This

management team will provide support to

its citizens through, education,

communications, coordination, planning

and training through all four phases of

emergency management - preparedness,

response, recovery and mitigation.
